Window Treats brought in Brigette Franco, a well know interior designer known for her meticulous attention to detail, to partner on a project. The project consisted of a Master Bedroom and a Bathroom.
Master Bedroom – The bedroom had four arched windows as part of a sitting area. During the day they wanted a clear view of the outdoors, but privacy at night. They really wanted something spectacular and different for this room.

Bathroom – Similar to the master bedroom, they were looking for a clear view outside during the day but privacy at night. They expressed that they would really want something with a decorative flare.

Before we got started on this window treatment project, we professionally measured the windows to ensure everything the final product would fit perfectly. Once that critical step was complete, we went into production, making the beautiful window treatments and finally installing them by one of our certified installers.
The End Result
The master bedroom is where the homeowner’s desire for something spectacular came to life. Window Treats, along with Brigette, thought decorative medallions would really make these treatments special. Window Treats brought in medallions from a decorator supply company and had them custom painted in gold leaf. We then draped swags and circular jabots with a clear crystal bead trim and added a contrasting striped lining. Underneath these swags and jabots, we installed Hunter Douglas Duette® Architella Honeycomb Shades with PowerRise®. This allowed the client to have the openness they wanted during the day and complete privacy at night with a push of a button.
In the bathroom, we selected stunning Hunter Douglas Silhouette® Window Shadings with PowerRise®. This allowed the client to diffuse harsh sunlight and have the ability to tilt the vanes to the preferred level of light and privacy. A valance made from metallic flex with clear crystal beads as trim added the decorative flare they were looking for. The client now had all of the above beauty and versatility in a window treatment with just a push of a button.
In the end, Window Treats exceeded the client’s wishes by providing stunning window treatments that were not only beautiful but added the functionality they needed.

Motorized Shades
Motorized window treatments with Hunter Douglas PowerRise® are an excellent option for privacy and hard to reach windows. Motorization also eliminates unsightly dangling cords. Simply press the remote to either raise or lower an individual shade or multiple shades or use mobile app and operate your shades with your iPhone or Android device.
