Hunter Douglas Designer Banded Shades

Designer Banded Shades (also known as layered shades) are a unique window treatment that can takes the look and functionality of a traditional roller shade or horizontal blind and multiplies them. Layered shades are two layers of shade in one treatment: one sheer and the other solid. Combined, they give you new options for controlling light while also offering bands of pattern that will visually delight. You can choose from small, medium, and large band heights to suit your needs (the larger the band height, the more view-through you’ll get). You can choose from numerous fabrics, from light-filtering to room-darkening, and a variety of colors. The line is even available in a geometric pattern that offers a modern, unexpected look. Controlling light is as easy as shifting the solid and sheer fabrics: when you align the solid band with the solid behind it, you have more light and view-through; when you align the front solid band with the sheer behind it, you have the effect of a closed window shade.
