There are three basic steps that one needs to think through, and we we do like to discuss these points prior to setting an appointment with one of our custom drapery and window shade professionals.

Firstly, why do you want window treatments? Why are you interested in covering your windows? It is important to start the processes of identifying your window treatment needs. See if you can identify your major concern/s. Do you want window blinds for privacy? Are you looking for window shades for insulation? Is your interested Hunter Douglas Architella Shadings for energy savings? Does motorization interest you for security reasons? Maybe you are not home all week and want to have your shades electronically open and close? Did you just redecorate or want to freshen up the style of the room?  Is there glaring light coming through the windows and making watching TV an eyesore? Are you afraid your paintings, artwork, antiques, furniture or rugs will be negatively affected from the UV light coming through the windows? This is the most important point to think about to ensure you choose the perfect custom curtains, draperies, window shadings, window blinds, shutters or electronic shades or electronic blinds.
