Three Hunter Douglas Options

Balancing privacy and the ability to diffuse light in one window treatment is easier than ever! Duolite from Hunter Douglas seamlessly combines two shades in one. Finally, you can diffuse light when you want it and get room-darkening privacy when you need it. The Duolite Design system is available on three popular Hunter Douglas window shades:

• Duette® Honeycomb Shades. Honeycomb shades are the most versatile window covering on the market and come in the largest range of colors, fabrics, textures, pleat sizes, and opacities. With Duette, you can also add top-down/bottom-up functionality and the LightLock™ room-darkening option as well.
• Vignette® Modern Roman Shades. The dual-opacity option combines a light-filtering or sheer front shade with a room-darkening back panel that both roll on a single roller, providing day-night convenience. Pair one of the opulent fabrics with variable light control to add style to any room. Once the shade is completely lowered, the back panel can be lowered to achieve varying levels of light control and privacy.
• Silhouette® Window Shadings. Just tilt the adjustable S-shaped vanes that appear to be floating between two sheer fabrics to achieve the light control you desire. Adding the Duolite feature integrates the room-darkening roller shade behind the shading. Position the roller shade at any height for increased privacy and light control.

Lift Systems

Hunter Douglas offers a variety of lift systems, from standard manual operations to motorized systems. They all offer pet and child safety, and some offer more. UltraGlide® is a retractable cord system that lets you raise and lower your shades with no ugly, dangling external cords. LiteRise® is a cordless system that lets you gently raise and lower your shades with slight pressure from your hand. PowerView® motorization is a wireless operating system that can be used with a PowerView® Pebble® remote or with your mobile device or tablet, even if you’re not at home.
