There’s no doubt that Roman shades are a versatile, beautiful, and highly stylish window covering. Standing the test of times, the Roman shade remains a popular window covering. It does have its drawbacks, though. Over the years, we’ve had customers from the Colts Neck NJ area express some dissatisfaction with the cords that run vertically on the back side of the shade, giving it an unattractive look from the outside. With no cords or tapes, the sheer facings allow you to view through the vanes to the outside, while maintaining a discreet level of privacy. The sheers soften sunlight to create warmth without too much brightness.
